Baptist Emergency Hospital Presents Fifth Annual Schertz Community Health Fair

Baptist Emergency Hospital has partnered with the Schertz Chamber of Commerce to host the fifth annual Health and Wholeness Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28. The event will be held at the Schertz Civic Center, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building 5. Admission is free and open to the public.

The health fair, which focuses on the four aspects of healthy living – spiritual, nutritional, physical and mental – will offer area residents an array of services, including free flu shots, and free vision, hearing and health screenings. Attendees will also have to opportunity to visit over 70 vendors, ranging from medical specialists and nutritionists to physical therapists and fitness experts.

“Each year, our partnership with the Schertz Chamber of Commerce has given us the opportunity to promote health and wellness beyond our hospital walls and into the community that we serve every day,” said David Mitchell, Regional CEO, Baptist Emergency Hospitals.

This is the fifth consecutive year Baptist Emergency Hospital has sponsored the health fair as part of its commitment to health in the community.
